Whitsett Satellite Update 9/28/2009
The Loaves & Fishes Whitsett Satellite location at Mt. Hope UCC has been operation for around 4 months. In that time, about 101 volunteer hours have been spent collecting 3841 pounds of food and stocking it on shelves and then putting that food into 172 grocery bags.
All the food is picked up once a week and transported to the Burlington location where it is distributed to food insecure families.
The satellite location is certainly off to a great start!
